Load Balancer Maintenance for Security Patch
Rackspace notified us that they will be performing critical maintenance of all their Cloud Severs the tart of next week. The maintenance affecting our servers will take place and be rebooted ion Monday October 19. A more precise timeframe will be provided once that information is made available.
The reboot should only take less than a minute and all websites should come back online on their own. But we will be monitoring the process and will respond to any problems ASAP.
This maintenance is necessary in order to patch to several critical vulnerabilities that have been discovered. It may affect different servers at different times. During the entire period of Monday October 19, all users may experience intermittent connections to their websites for less than a minute.
We apologize for the inconvenience, but we have no control over this. These steps are being taken by the worlds most reliable and trusted hosting providers because they are absolutely necessary in order to keep the load balancers functioning stable and secure.
