We have added a new marketing feature available for free to all websites (version 0.14 and above), which allows you to enable a popup to appear on the screen. This popup can contain content that promotes anything you want, e.g. a call to action, reminder, etc. For example, you could make a small popup show up in the bottom right corner of the site that encourages people to call you. Once this popup is dismissed, it will not show up for the same visitor a second time.
See it in action on our Realtor Demo Website.
The popup can be positioned in the center or at the top or bottom of the screen (right or left). If it's centered it will be immersive and people have to close it to continue browsing the site. All other positions are not immersive so it can stay on top of the page while you scroll/navigate around the site, until you dismiss it.
The popup can be set to different sizes from extra small to large, to accomodate different information/goals.
The popup can be set to appear on page load, or only when the user is finished and drags their mouse outside of the browser window (useful for one final offer/call to action).
This gives you more options for accomplishing your marketing goals in different situations.
In general we don't recommend invasive popups like this, because they can be annoying. But there are certain cases where announcing something important can be useful, so it's nice to have that option. But most of the time it's still a better idea to make sure that the content on your page is written in an engaging manner with value propositions and calls to action. Because that will provide the context for visitors to be motivated to take action, instead of popups that appear in their face without any preliminary psychological preparation to stimulate a "need" for what you are offering.
